TOMAS MUDD

Tomas Mudd joined the firm as managing partner in
1991. His practice focuses on intellectual property. He also acts as a
liaison between the clients of the firm and our lawyers.
He
graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1984, with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Industrial Relations. He received his Juris Doctor
degree in 1987. In 1988 he obtained a Diploma
in Comparative Law .
He is a member of the Czech Chamber of
Advocates, having been admitted as a foreign lawyer with practice
limited to matters of international and U.S. law in 1997. He was
admitted to practice law in the state of Mississippi and the U.S.
District Courts in 1988 and in the state of Florida in 1990.
Tomas Mudd is the International Trademark
Association representative for the firm and is a contributor to the INTA
Annual Review. He has participated as a speaker at several seminars on
combating product piracy and is co–author of the article New
Legislation in the Czech Republic, Trademark Act of 1995,
International Business Lawyer, March 1996.
PETR FRISCHMANN

Petr
Frischmann joined the firm in 1996 as a senior lawyer and became a
partner in 2000. He has substantial experience in company foundation
matters, commercial law, contractual law, dispute resolution and
litigation and labour law.
Petr
Frischmann graduated from the Charles University Faculty of Law in 1987,
with a Juris Doctor degree.
Petr
Frischmann is a member of the Czech Chamber of Advocates, having been
admitted to practice law in 1993. He was a Research Fellow at the
University of Liverpool, Faculty of Social Science in 1988. Petr
Frischmann was a Senior Lecturer at the Charles University Faculty of
Law from 1988 to 1995 and the Olomouc University Faculty of Law during
1993 and 1994. In 1995 he was a Faculty Adjunct at the University of San
Francisco School of Law.
Petr
Frischmann is co-author of the following textbooks; Civil Procedure
Textbook, Charles University Faculty of Law, 1994; Enforcement of
Judgements Textbook, Charles University Faculty of Law, 1988.
KAREL ŠINDELKA

Karel Šindelka joined the firm as an associate in 1998 and became a
partner in 2007.
In 2006 he was on a secondment with the legal department
of Philip Morris in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he worked as a
trademark specialist.
He is active in the areas of general commercial law and
intellectual property right enforcement.
He has participated in a wide range of claims against
counterfeit product distributors and has presented seminars to employees
of Czech administrative agencies on the topic. He
is an external teacher of Law at the Škoda Auto University.
Karel Šindelka graduated from the Masaryk University Faculty of Law in
1998, with a Magistr Juris degree.
